Pidato Akhir Jabatan

Salam Sejahtera bagi kita semua ………………….. Ketika Panitia Pelepasan minta saya untuk mempersiapkan pidato akhir jabatan, saya agak bingung, akhir jabatan apakah yang dimaksud. Di perguruan tinggi dikenal adanya jabatan struktural dan jabatan fungsional. Seperti telah dibacakan pada curriculum vitae , jabatan struktural sebagai Ketua Jurusan Farmasi sudah saya tinggalkan sejak tahun 1987. Jabatan Fungsional tidak akan diakhiri selama kondisi fisik dan mental masih memungkinkan, dan masih dibutuhkan di perguruan tinggi swasta. Jadi setelah dipikir-pikir, akhir jabatan yang dimaksud di sini yang paling sesuai ialah jabatan fungsional sebagai Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) di Universitas Hasanuddin, DepDikNas. Sebagai catatan informasi, dalam lingkungan UNHAS   beberapa Jurusan sudah mulai mengantisipasi menyongsong diubahnya status UNHAS menjadi Badan Hukum Milik Negara (BHMN), yaitu dengan cara mengangkat kembali staf pengajarnya yang memasuki masa bakti (pensiun) menjadi dosen tet...

The Love of Allah and His Messenger

Indeed, praise is to Allah, the All‐Merciful, the All‐Gracious Who is kind to His servants, and endows upon them His countless bounties and endless love. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, Who is the only God without any associates. Verily, Allah, the Exalted, has praised His loving believers in the Holy Quran:” But those of faith are overflowing in their love for God.”(2:165). I also bear witness that our Master Muhammad is the servant and the messenger of Allah, the most noble of mankind who is favored by Almighty Allah over other prophets. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Master Muhammad, his family, his companions, and all those who follow them in righteousness till the Day of Judgment.
